These are paintings from my early years, from back in the day when I thought being an artist seemed the thing to do,
I did alright at it but my creative tendencies coming to the fore on demand wasn’t the most reliable thing even with the
threat of 9 to 5 jobs lurking in the background......
I used to make my own canvas which was basically cotton sheets glued onto whatever board was available, hardly the
done thing but it worked. I used oil paints because they didn’t dry too quick and gave lots of time to fiddle. There are
only six photos that I have left, too many years ago and no records as to where all the paintings went.
